FAQs

It says the presentation isn't available, where can I watch it?

All presentations will go live at 7:00 am EDT on the day they are listed on the Summit Schedule. They will be available on the summit page for 24 hours.

After they expire, the only way to view them is through the VIP Extended access pass that allows you to view them for 6 months. If you are a VIP Pass holder, you can log into your account here and view the presentations through the VIP Pass course in your library.

Why are the presentations only availabe for 24 hours

The Safety Geek is dedicated to making resources available to all safety professionals. Offering the summit for free for a limited time allows us to do this.

Putting on an event like this involves a great deal of time, work, and expenses. Offering the VIP Extended Access Pass helps to cover the costs while still being able to give free access to those who truly need it.

How do I get a VIP Pass?

I bought the VIP Pass, how do I access the replays?

The VIP Pass gives you extended access beyond the 24 hours that the presentation is available on the Summit platform. To access the presentations early or after the summit, you need to be logged into The Safety Geek Courses website and then go into "Your Stuff" or "Your Library."

Your credentials and links were emailed to you when you purchased your VIP Pass.

Then find the course titled "Extended Access Pass" and click "view course."

I missed the special or early bird pricing on the VIP Pass. Can I get a discount?

I don't use Facebook, how can I still participate?

We get it, Facebook is not universally used, especially in the professional community. However, to keep this summit free, we have to use low- to no-cost options to provide this amazing content and make it accessible to everyone. Therefore, we utilize Facebook's free community features.

Unfortunately, without a Facebook account, you will not be able to fully participate in all the summit events and activities.

But there is a solution...create a free Facebook account to use only for the summit group and other safety groups; you don't have to follow anyone or friend anyone. This will allow you to participate without the distraction that social media platforms can be.

Can I get proof of attendance or a certificate?

Yes! As part of the Extended Access Pass, you will find a link to request a certificate of attendance. This will show the dates and hours of the event. This is a digital certificate you can print from your Pass Portal once you complete the request.

Proof of attendance is not available with the free ticket. To keep this event free and accessible to all, we need to use low- to no-cost software options. There's currently no way to verify attendance to the free part of the event.

Can I get a copy of one of the presentations? I want to use it in training.

Absolutely! With the VIP Extended Access Pass, you get access to downloadable content for every speakers presentation; including video, audio, slides, and worksheets.

Unfortunately, downloadable content is not available with the free summit ticket. But there's still time to upgrade! Click here to get your VIP Pass.

How do I become a speaker in the summit?

Thank you so much for your interest in being a part of this event! We would love for you to apply to speak at the next event.

A few weeks following the end of this event, we will post on The Safety Geek website the dates for the next summit, and applications for speakers will be open. So check the "Summit" tab in the next few weeks for more details.
