New Year is a Time To Set Your Career Goals

Happy New Year!  To kick off the New Year I shared what to expect from the Safety Geek in the upcoming year and what I'm focusing on.

During this time of year, it's common to be working on Safety Goals for your company.  But I want to encourage you to start making goals for your career and life as well.  The practice I like to use is a combination of Steven Covey and The One Thing.  When you set a long-term goal and break it down to 10 years, 5 years, 3 years, 1 year...then this month, week, day.  You are more likely to achieve that goal because you are regularly looking at it.
